Bandmates bond and identify individual strengths during weeks one through four by participating in tireless rehearsals and rigorous crowd-surfing practice. Mid-program workshops grant jamming fellowships a break from rehearsal with a pair of live gigs. Week nine ushers bands into Audio Valley for a four-hour professional-level recording session wherein their best song is committed to digital form. Before breaking up amicably, bands hold a closing performance for their adoring public at a killer live venue, effectively activating the latent lighter-waving impulses of family and friends. Performers snag a DVD of the performance and numerous contacts in the local music scene.
